The
Pladda is a small family home built on a steeply-sloping wooded
site, along the contours, with an unusually narrow 3.5metre span
main part housing dining kitchen, family room and hall on ground
floor and 3 bedrooms on the upper floor, and a wider wing with
living room on the ground floor and master bedroom with en
suite above. There is a full-width timber deck along the front.
It is shown to demonstrate that on a narrow-depth site, a
narrow-span building can still provide interesting
accommodation.
